Three Jewels

One race after all the time and money invested, MRH kicks Three Jewels in the butt and throws him away! This will go down as one of their worst actions yet! 'Rehoming' him...is this going to be another hand off to one of their cronies that will take the horse to the races and win with him? The last in a 3 horse Chad Brown Bundle that fell apart, the horses went to other trainers (not CB) and had medical issues. Having trained and raced horses myself, in CA and OR, from Santa Anita to Fair Circuits, I am beyond angry at this decision. This is not looking out for the 'stockholders'.

MyRacehorse At MyRacehorse, we will always put our horses' health and well-being first, including their mental well-being, which is what we believe we are doing with this decision for Three Jewels. It has been a long journey to get him to the races, including multiple physical setbacks, but after his recent performance, we do not see any reason to continue racing him. Over the last two years, we have given him every chance and have been extremely patient with him throughout his journey, for his own well being we have decided to retire him and let him move onto his next career outside of racing. We look forward to seeing him have the chance to transition into a second career and find his true calling off the track!

horse won yesterday but not a word still ? It was just under 20K and nothing about what happened to any kind of payout or anything at all? No mention of anything at all period? Not a way to run what ever you call this.

You can find those updates in your email or even easier- directly in the app though our updates feed or by push notification! Simply login to your account and select “My Horses,” from there, you’ll select your horse’s name from the list provided. Hope this helps!

My Racehorse is a fun opportunity to own a tiny part of a racehorse and experience horse racing. Please have realistic expectations... Success on the track can never be guaranteed and very few horses are capable of being competitive at racing's highest level. There's a reason they call it the Sport of Kings. Also, minor issues and setbacks are very common in young horses. Do not expect to get rich. My Racehorse does a good job of picking well bred, promising young horses. If you have a little "disposable money" and would like a horse (or a few) to follow and cheer for - this is for you. You will get regular updates on your horse(s) and a fun experience. I also really like that My Racehorse is very involved in Thoroughbred aftercare.

Owners can expect access to a lot of the perks any owner would expect to receive. From the exclusive content, including updates on the health/training progress of your horse, post-race assessments by the trainer and/or ownership group, updates on upcoming race options, workout videos, and assessments, and often just some fun videos of the horse at the barn or the farm, to the chance to experience some of the tracks’ best accommodations with a group of passionate co-owners, we’re proud of our ability to make racing accessible for the masses!

Where's the Updates? Not happy...

3 horses I have shares in haven't seen an update in 3 months. Really disappointed in not seeing at least a once-a-month update. Two are at 3 months and another 2 ! So much for letting the 'owners' know what their 'investment' is doing. The longer this goes on the least amount of trust I have in the integrity of MHR. Maybe MHR has overreached their abilities to communicate with the investors. Or is MRH cooking up backroom sale deals on nonperformers? They have done it in the past.

MyRacehorse While we strive to ensure updates are sent on a regular basis, there are times where those updates may be fewer and a bit farther between. For example, if your horse is currently on a layover break, whether it be just a break from training or in need of time to heal from an injury or set back, updates may come less often as there is not much to report on in between checks. On the other hand, when a horse is in active training, updates are sent on a weekly basis, sometimes even faster!

Very disappointed with the fact that I will never be able to experience horse ownership the way it’s described on the website. I should have researched better. I would not have thrown my money away. I will never get to experience visiting any of the horses I bought into. I live no where near any of them. Very sad.

MyRacehorse We know owning a racehorse is best experienced when you have a chance to visit your racehorse and we do our best to set up as many visits to see your thoroughbred as possible. We offer tours to visit with your horses on the farm, large MRH events and race day experiences - that are posted on the app under the events section. While we cannot accommodate individual requests, we do our best to provide ample opportunities in multiple locations across the US, offering owners a chance to see their horses in person. Last year alone we had over 300 tours for our partners to visit their horses!
