Carrothers Disappoints
Hopes (mine) were high when Carrothers went to the post today. Pre-race he seemed to be on his toes, but he broke slowly, and ran wide most of the way. Carrothers appeared rank throughout most of the race and struggled home out of the frame - the picture frame! The turf was not his friend. That's racing. At least it didn't rain!

I raced my own horses for 50 years starting in the 70s at the the old Cahokia Downs in East St Louis, IL. I probably made a decent profit in about 5 or those years. For the last year or so I gradually phased out of my stable as I didn't want my heirs to be burdened with it. MyRacehorse is a great substitute as it gives me partial ownership of horses to own and bet knowing that if I should get ill or die, MyRacehorse won't be dunning my family for money...

I have invested over 10thousand in my 6 horse. I play to win. I have in six months got return of $750. But I have two promising two year olds and one Breeder's Cup runner that is worth twice what I paid. I am looking forward to next year watching my 4 2yolds run. The bad news is that one of my horses had to be retired due to injury Star Six Nine.

I bought shares in my first horses about two months ago and am so pleased with the information you provide your investors. I now have eleven horses in my stable and hardly a day goes by without getting an update on one or more of them. Most days there is more than one update. The information and videos you provide, starting with the young horses on the farms to the day they race, keep me up to date on how they are doing. The videos with the jockeys and information provided the day after the race are very important to any horse owner. It’s as close as one can get to their horses without being there. To be so far away you make me feel like I am so close, and I thank you for that. Thanks to the MyRacehorse support team for doing an excellent job!

Richard Baltas did a great job with our horse in Race 9 today. He was well behaved and willing. I think the turf was fine. He did a good job & the jockey kept him out of trouble. Having a good experience will make him a better horse and will improve. Looking forward to his development. Thanks.

Since my childhood I have always wanted to own a thoroughbred racehorse. I ended up in the quarter horse show pen instead. I know my horses. At first I thought this was some kind of scam and I unfortunately missed out on owning shares of some million dollar earners and I kick myself for not being a part of Authentic. But, once I joined the My Racehorse owner ranks only a few months ago...I have had a horse win! Had horses in the top money in all but one Maiden race. This is legit! I finally was able to go to an actual race to see a horse I own shares in and I was treated royally. Going down to the paddock and watching MY HORSE walk by...Mike Smith on board...being there at the finish line and then hearing the comments from jockey and trainer afterwards...Every day I get notifications and videos of workouts and events. I have met other owners and everyone is really great! And the cost? I drop more on the slots or a dinner than what some of my now 12 horses have cost. My only complaint and it is a happy one...I have two racing on the same day! I hope they have different start times! I am giving all my friends gift certificates for Christmas. THEY HAVE GOT TO BE A PART OF THIS! Thank you MRH for this! Now on to the Triple Crown! Now an absolutely real possibility.
